The Sosnowiec-D±browa Sub-zone is located on the area of two neighboring cities: Sosnowiec and D±browa Górnicza located in the eastern part of the Voivodship of Silesia. In 2000 the industrial area in Częstochowa, in 2004 the area in Sławków and in 2005 the area in Siemianowice ¦l±skie were incorporated. The dispersed character of the included area and its closeness
to the companies being restructured is the main characteristic
feature of the sub-zone. Such a location guarantees the developed
technical and communication infrastructure of plots being the part
of the investment offer. 176 ha of out of 380 ha of the land within
the sub-zone have been sold so far. They have been purchased by
23 companies representing both Polish and foreign capital, including
German, Italian, American, Spanish, English, Canadian, Swedish
and Swiss.
